Tall Tree Farm is a 60-acre "Choose and Cut" Christmas tree farm. Our first crop of trees will be available for sale in 2018.

Responsible for operations and management of the Residential Division, including new business growth and profitability, as well as marketing and business development for both Commercial and Residential Divisions of Monument Construction.

Shorey Studios, Inc., Atlanta GA

During its 17 years, Shorey Studios operated in three distinct segments

  • 1998 - 2004  Residential Construction & Remodeling - Renovation projects with average contract price of $300k generated $1.4 million in revenue.
  • 1991 - 1998  Custom Displays & Specialty Fabrication - with 10 employees and annual gross sales of $1.1 million, projects included water parks, zoos, themed restaurant interiors and specialty prop fabrication for museums.
  • 1987 - 1991  Custom Props & Sets for Film & TV - before the days of CGI and computer graphics, props and special effects were built and executed by hand. With annual revenues in excess of $250k, clients included:  Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, BMW, Warner Bros., Arista Records, NASCAR and others.

Moving to a local/regional ad agency offered me more management responsibility.  Worked on a variety of accounts including Mobil Oil, Westin Hotels and other industrial and retail business.

Bozell & Jacobs, Atlanta, GA   (national advertising agency)

Responsible for writing marketing plans and handling the daily management of the CBS television account, Emory University Hospital and projects for Valvoline Oil.


1979 – 1982

Account Executive

J. Walter Thompson, Detroit, MI & Atlanta, GA   (global advertising agency)

Client:  Ford Motor Company

Responsible for copy approval through Ford corporate attorneys’, marketing efforts for local dealer groups, and the design of the new Account Executive training program.  Transferred to Atlanta in 1981 to work on the Ford Southern Regional business.
